FAQ

The basics first: what it is, how to play, prizes, Shmoo Coins, XP, ranks, payouts, and leaderboard rules.

Shmoo's Book is Lil Shmoo's UFC fantasy sportsbook built to feel like FanDuel/DraftKings, but with virtual currency. Every UFC card is an event. You're competing in a ranked system where Shmoo Coins, XP, and leaderboard profit determine who wins.

You place singles or parlays, your bets settle when fights resolve, and the strongest performers rise to the top of the leaderboard.

The Point

•Live Leaderboard = who is performing best right now.

•All-Time = long-term record and rank.

•Top finishers can win cash prizes through Whop when payouts are enabled.

v1 is virtual currency + prize competition. Rules may evolve over time.

When you join an event, you start with 1,000 Shmoo Coins. Everyone starts on equal footing.

Payout Eligibility

To qualify for leaderboard payouts, you must wager at least 500 Shmoo Coins during the event.

Players who do not reach 500 wagered can still play and appear on the leaderboard, but they do not qualify for prize spots.

Mixed prelim + main card parlays still work, but they pay normal odds.

Think of it like a UFC betting tournament — profit is your score, skill decides the winners.

If you hit $0 bankroll, you won't be able to place new bets until you refill.

Rebuy / Refill (Whop)

•Rebuys are handled through Whop.

•After purchase confirmation, your Shmoo Coins are restored so you can jump back in.

•This keeps the game fair and makes bankroll management matter.

Play smart. Or pay to reload.

This uses a DFS-style payout model. Players join the event, the pool funds the prizes, and the top finishers on the leaderboard get paid real cash through Whop.

Payout Structure

•The top 20% of payout-eligible finishers are in the money.

•You must wager at least 500 Shmoo Coins to qualify for those payout spots.

•1st place earns the largest share — payouts decrease down the ladder.

Payment (Whop)

1.Make sure your Whop account has a valid payout setup.

2.If you finish in the paid range and are payout-eligible, your prize is sent through Whop.

3.You'll receive confirmation once the event is closed and verified.

Prize amounts vary by event. If an event has no prize pool, it's leaderboard grind only.

XP is earned when bets settle. XP drives your rank progression and accumulates permanently across all events.

Win+3 XP

Odds bonus on win+1 to +4 XP

Bigger underdogs earn bigger bonus XP. A win is typically 4–7 XP total.

Parlays award XP once when the full parlay settles.

Ranks are based on XP thresholds. When you hit the next threshold, you rank up automatically. No demotions in v1.

Your XP bar shows progress from your current tier to the next tier.

When fights resolve, your bet settles automatically and your Shmoo Coins update.

Settlement Rules (v1)

•Win: payout is added based on odds.

•Loss: wager is gone.

•Parlay: must hit every leg to cash.

•Draw / No Contest: wager refunded. On a parlay, that leg is removed and the parlay recalculates.

•Winning prelim singles pay 1.2x.

•Winning all-prelim parlays pay 1.5x on the final parlay payout.

Mixed prelim + main card parlays still work, but they pay normal odds.

Shmoo Coins are your virtual event bankroll. Everyone starts at $1,000 at the start of each event.

Wins increase your Shmoo Coins, losses decrease them, and your event profit determines your leaderboard placement.

Draw and No Contest results are treated as a void / push.

•Your wager is refunded to your bankroll.

•On a parlay, the NC leg is removed and the parlay recalculates on the remaining legs.

No. The book updates automatically while you're on the page, and it also refreshes when you click back into the tab/window.

Admin is for the operator only. It's used to resolve fights, manage events, and trigger payouts. Regular users should not access it.

Steps

1.Select a fighter or market on a fight card.

2.Your pick appears in the Bet Slip.

3.Add more picks to build a parlay, or keep it as a single.

4.Enter your wager amount.

5.Place bet and your Shmoo Coins update instantly.

6.When fights resolve, your payout and XP settle automatically.

Common reasons

•The fight is locked or already started.

•Not enough Shmoo Coins for the wager amount entered.

•The wager is outside the min/max limits.

•Conflicting picks on the same fight.

•The event is closed or between events.

After you place a bet, it appears in My Bets.

•Switch tabs and come back if it doesn't show instantly.

•Click back into the browser tab to force a refresh.

•If connection drops, reload — bets are stored server-side.
